Analyzing the Coupling Coordination Between Artificial Intelligence and Employment Quality in China: A Model-Based Approach

In recent years, the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has profoundly impacted employment quality. On one hand, AI has significantly enhanced the production and operational efficiency of enterprises, reduced costs, and improved employment quality. On the other hand, the ongoing development of AI, with its increasing automation and intelligence, has rendered certain traditional positions obsolete, thereby affecting the labor market. This study employs the entropy weight method and the coupling coordination model to analyze the integration characteristics of AI development levels and employment quality in China from 2011 to 2022. The findings indicate that the overall coupling coordination degree has gradually increased from 0.316 to 0.464 over this period. This suggests that although some degree of imbalance persists, there is an overall trend toward improved coupling coordination. Within the context of China's strategic emphasis on prioritizing employment, this research provides crucial insights that can inform policies aimed at further enhancing employment quality in China.
