LiMAx test and ultrasound elastography to measure biomarkers of declining liver function in patients with liver fibrosis: A correlation analysis
This retrospective study confirms the results of previous studies showing a notable but weak association between liver function and liver stiffness. Our results highlight the potential value of both tests as complementary tools for the evaluation of liver health, reinforcing the necessity for a multimodal approach to liver assessment.
