Microwave Radiometry in Pulmonology
In the course of the work, mathematical modeling of the intrinsic radiation of the volume of biological tissues on the projection of the lungs was carried out. The purpose of the work was to evaluate the capabilities of microwave radiometry in examining the lungs. Microwave radiometry may have prospects for use as part of an integrated approach in the diagnosis and monitoring of treatment of lung diseases. The method also has high potential in the early diagnosis of pulmonary complications of COVID-19 as an alternative to computed tomography.
