Theoretical and Experimental Research of Fractal Antennas Designed by SIW-Technology

This paper reports the results of the research of fractal antennas based on the Sierpinski carpet fractal using SIW technology. Modelling and simulation were carried out by the finite element method. Experimental prototypes of fractal antennas were fabricated and researched. The analysis of calculated data with experiment showed good agreement.
