The Impact of Public Health on Disease Prevention
Public health plays an important role in preventing diseases by supporting measures that prioritise the well-being of entire populations over individuals. This study investigates the history of public health, the approaches used in illness prevention, and the difficulties encountered in executing these tactics. Public health strategies, such as immunisation programs and lifestyle modifications, are critical in combating communicable and non-communicable diseases. Case studies like the Diabetes Prevention Program and REACH U.S. demonstrate the effectiveness of public health efforts. The paper also discusses current difficulties, such as limited resources, misinformation, and increasing dangers, as well as possible future strategies for improving public health systems through innovation, research, and community participation. Keywords: Public Health, Disease Prevention, Vaccination, Health Promotion, Preventive Healthcare.
