Health lifestyle education through the 6-step handwashing and toothbrushing campaign
Elementary school children, aged 6 to 11 years old, are a vulnerable group susceptible to health problems. This community service activity aimed to provide education and guidance on healthy lifestyles to students at SDN 1 Bataraguru, Palabusa Village, Lea-lea District, Baubau City. The program involved a socialization session on the six steps of proper handwashing and toothbrushing, followed by practical demonstrations. The results showed an improvement in students' understanding, knowledge, and application of the six steps of handwashing and toothbrushing, which is expected to reduce health problems among children.
