Analyzing the Impact of Information Security Certification on Corporate Performance in the Automotive Industry Using Systems Thinking: Focusing on TISAX Assessment

In the automobile industry, the importance of information security is increasingly critical due to digital advancements and greater connectivity. However, improving security post-production remains challenging. To build trust amid evolving security threats, companies are increasingly adopting security standards such as the TISAX assessment, based on ISO 27001, rather than relying on individual security measures. This study explores the impact of TISAX assessment on automotive industry performance using a causal loop diagram (CLD) built from literature research, TISAX data, and surveys. The analysis shows how TISAX certification and security enhancements impact corporate performance, revealing that increased security awareness and proactive TISAX preparation can create significant business opportunities. The findings underscore the need for effective security strategies by illustrating a direct causal link between TISAX assessment, improved security measures, and enhanced business performance.
