Spiritualitas Katekis

In the framework of the Christian vocation, being a catechist cannot be reduced into fullfiling a job to proclaim the truth of the Christian faith and to teach People of God to live according to the Christian faith. Catechist needs to form himself acording to spirituality proper to his mission. The spirituality of catechist is fundamentally formed of openness to Word of God, truthfullness to the self, and authentic living according to Christian faith and ethics. To begin with such spirituality, one has to make a habit which is relevant to that objectives, such as, constant practice of reading the Bible and spiritual exercise, personal prayer and devotion, and honest life.
