The freedom of creativity, which is established in different forms in various legal regulations, is considered one of the main freedoms related to the development of the material and spiritual existence of a person due to its characteristics. In the modern era, digitalization processes and the transition to the information society have conditioned this freedom to take a new form, to include not only artistic works, but a wider content. The article analyzes the nature of freedom of creativity, its main elements, mechanisms of legal protection, as well as the interaction of this freedom with other rights and freedoms. In addition, recommendations on methods of protection against illegal interference aimed at freedom of creativity have been presented. At this time, the important aspects of the interaction of freedom of creativity and information culture were also studied.
