INFLUENCE OF SEWAGE SLUDGE ON THE YIELD AND CONTENT OF MAIN NUTRIENTS IN THE STRAW OF LEGUMINES-CEREALS AND CEREAL GRASSES

The article is devoted to the study of the effect of sewage sludge used as fertilizer on productivity, as well as on the supply with the mineral nutrition of legumes, cereals and cereal grasses. The small-scale field experiment was carried out in the educational and experimental garden of the St. Petersburg State Agrarian University. Sewage sludge was added in the form of compost mixed with acidic high-moor peat in a ratio of 1:0.25. Compost was used in two versions: independently (at a dose of 20 t/ha, 40 t/ha) and against the background of the application of mineral fertilizers. To compare the effect of compost from sewage sludge, half-rotted manure was added in similar variants. In the last two years of experiment, the application of sewage sludge had a positive effect on grass yields and also increased the content of nutrient (NPK) elements.
