CHANGES IN THE FIELD MOISTURE CAPACITY OF THE SOIL DEPENDING ON THE MOISTURE SORBENTS USED
In field experiments, the influence of the aftereffect of the sorbents vermiculite and polymer hydrogel on the field moisture capacity of the soil of chestnut soils in three districts of the Republic of Tyva was evaluated. It was revealed that the introduction of vermiculite and polymer hydrogel into the soil contributes to the preservation of productive moisture in the upper root layer of the soil even 2 years after their application. The positive effect of moisture sorbents increases if they are used in conjunction with mineral fertilizers.
