THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE FROM THE AFANASIEV ERA TO THE TASHTYK CULTURE

This study examines the development of human economy in pre-Yenisei Siberia. It shows the transition from appropriation to production, especially a noticeable leap in the Tashtyk culture. Agriculture plays an important role in every culture under study. The study also reflects changes in agricultural implements, including tillage and grain processing. This is confirmed by excavations on the territory of Afanasyevka Mountain, Minusinsk basin, Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP.
