Research on scheduling algorithm based on automotive ethernet and CAN-FD hybrid network

With the rapid development of new energy vehicles and connected smart vehicles, the complexity of in-vehicle networks and the volume of data interactions have surged dramatically. This situation has led to the in-vehicle network's message processing delays and losses, adversely affecting vehicle functions. This paper deeply analyzes the characteristics of a hybrid network packet grouping and communication processing. A queue scheduling model for the hybrid network was successfully established. Based on this model, improvements were made to classical scheduling algorithms from a dynamic weighting perspective, and the effectiveness of the algorithm was verified. Additionally, the research covers the scheduling algorithm of an Automotive Ethernet-CAN-FD hybrid network and carries out software and hardware simulations on a hardware platform. Experimental results clearly show that the algorithm effectively reduces the latency of the hybrid network, decreases the packet loss rate, enhances transmission efficiency, and boosts the stability of the in-vehicle network. This research holds promising applications in the field of in-vehicle network management.
