A vision-based fast UAV position calculation method

In order to quickly calculate the target position of the UAV, so that when the UAV shoots the target object, the target object is in the center of the image and the size is appropriate, this paper proposes a vision-based fast UAV position calculation method. Firstly, given the first picture taken by the UAV and the Gimbal pitch, Gimbal yaw, and Zoom at the time of taking the picture, then the target detection algorithm is used to get the position and size of the target object in the picture, and then the values of Gimbal yaw change and Gimbal pitch change are obtained through testing, and finally the geometric calculation is carried out to get the target drone posture. The experiments show that the method proposed in this paper is feasible. Experiments show that the method proposed in this paper is feasible and can be further applied to tasks such as UAV navigation and target tracking.
