Analysis of Global Language Dynamics: A Cross-Cultural Examination of the Most Spoken Languages and Perceived Learning Ease
The process of learning languages on a global scale is a complex phenomenon that is shaped by many factors ranging from language structural features to socio-cultural dynamics. In order to analyse global language dynamics and the perceived ease of learning various languages, a dataset has been created within the scope of this study, which combines factors such as the number of native and second language speakers, geographical distribution, perceived difficulty levels, educational resources, economic impact and cultural importance of different languages. Various analyses were performed on this dataset using statistical analysis, clustering methods and machine learning techniques such as K-means clustering. The aim was to identify patterns and correlations that explain why certain languages are easier or more difficult to learn. The study provides insights into how lexical similarity, bilingualism rates and the socio-cultural importance of languages influence language acquisition. The findings emphasise the role of exposure, resources and motivation in facilitating language learning, while also highlighting the complexity of language structures and their impact on the learning process. Furthermore, this study contributes to a broader understanding of linguistic diversity and offers practical implications for language education policies and strategies.
