Integration of Digital Economy, Knowledge Economy and Circular Economy in the Conditions of Industry 5.0

The work established that Industry 5.0 involves the integration of Digital Economy (DE), Knowledge Economy (KE) and Circular Economy (CE). The main international indices that characterize the development of these economies in European countries have been determined. It is proposed to use the Global Innovation Index (GII) to analyze the development of the DE, the Global Knowledge Index (GKI) to analyze the development of the KE, and the Environmental Performance Index (EPI) to analyze the development of the CE. The dynamics of these indices from 2020 to 2023 were analyzed for Ukraine in comparison with such European countries as Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. The component data of the indices were compared and problematic areas for the countries under study were identified. It is proposed to use an integral indicator formed from the GII, GKI and EPI indices as the level of readiness for the transition to Industry 5.0 (LRI 5.0). This integral indicator is forecast for 2024 for Ukraine, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
