Method for Countering Attacks on the GNSS System in Maritime Transport

Our work contains a detailed study of measures to counter cyber-attacks on global positioning systems in maritime transport in order to highlight the problems and security challenges that have arisen in this area. The article analyzes the GNSS systems that are equipped on sea vessels, which can become the target of attackers. Their possible vulnerabilities that could be exploited by an attacker, the consequences of access to this system and the events that occurred are analyzed. The article also proposes a method to counter such attacks. Finally, open questions for future research are discussed.
