Augmented Reality Simulator for Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve Identification during Thyroid Surgery
This article describes the development and application of an augmented reality simulator for identification of the recurrent laryngeal nerve during thyroid surgery. In order to increase the accuracy of determining the location of the nerve and reduce the risks of its damage, innovative software integrated with Magic Leap 2 augmented reality glasses is used. This approach allows creating an immersive learning environment for surgeons, significantly increasing the effectiveness of training and patient safety.
