Speech Recognition System for Ukrainian Language

The industrialization of society is inextricably linked with the development of new scientific methods, information technologies, and computer intelligence. Currently, speech signal recognition technologies are used to manage the technological processes of operating unmanned aircraft systems, identifying a person in access control systems, and communicating with chatbots. This paper considers the issue of creating a system for recognizing speech signals in the Ukrainian language. The proposed system includes a tool for separating the speech signal into phonemes, a tool for recognizing phonemes, and a tool for forming a text message (control signals). The main attention was paid to the method of recognizing the letters and syllables of the Ukrainian language based on the analysis of spectrograms that were recorded by female and male voices (including children’s voices).
