The Investigation of the Long-Term and Short-Term Cointegration Effects between GDP and Migration
Dynamic development of the migration processes give new challenges for the national economy and possibilities to grow of macroeconomic indicators. In the paper we analyzed cointegration effect between GDP and migration. The purpose of the paper is investigation time and spatial cointegration effect in long-term and short-term tendencies. We used time series analysis, spectral analysis, decomposition models, orthogonality analysis as mathematical tools in our investigation. Cyclic components determine the short-term tendency and trend determines a long term tendency in time series of GDP and migration. Each component investigated in time and spatial options. Time cointegration effects determined in GDP and migration indicators of Germany during 1970-2022 and 1990-2022 years. We used time series of GDP and migration for three countries: Ukraine, Poland and Germany in 1990-2022 years for the study of the spatial cointegration effect. The strong cointegration between migration and GDP indicators in time and spatial shows us the ways of the growth of GDP with help of the migration processes.
