Realisation of a Given Trucks Loading Logic using a Fuzzy Decision Making Model

This paper presents a study of the possibility of realising a given logic of sorting parcels processed by automated sorting lines. We propose to use a fuzzy decision-making model that allows to classify parcels by their weight and size parameters. The classified parcels are distributed with a given logic to the outbound loading doors of parcel sorting centres, for which ranges of weight and dimension values are defined.

Abstract

This paper presents a study of the possibility of realising a given logic of sorting parcels processed by automated sorting lines. We propose to use a fuzzy decision-making model that allows to classify parcels by their weight and size parameters. The classified parcels are distributed with a given logic to the outbound loading doors of parcel sorting centres, for which ranges of weight and dimension values are defined.
