Assessing Network Security Risks: a Technological Chain Perspective
This article examines the technological components underlying network security and investigates how vulnerabilities in individual components can cascade throughout the system, creating significant risks. It discusses the interplay of regulatory compliance, software, security protocols, and user behavior in shaping the security posture of networks. By dissecting this technological chain, the article sheds light on the complexities associated with effectively identifying and mitigating security risks. It underscores the importance of holistic approaches to security aimed at addressing vulnerabilities in each individual component of the technological chain.
