IMMUNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF GINGIVAL FLUID IN THE TREATMENT OF APICAL PERIODONTITIS

Apical periodontitis is one of the most common chronic inflammatory diseases in dentistry, it is an inflammatory condition of the endodontium affecting the apical periodontium and the adjacent alveolar bone and cement. This is the result of the interaction between the endodontic biofilm and the immune-inflammatory response. Clinical studies conducted by various researchers have shown that chronic periodontitis has a slow and steady progression. In this study, the immune response of the gingival component with canal obturation with a Calasept root filling was investigated. To achieve a unified effect on immunological parameters, treatment was carried out according to a single protocol.
