Deepening Understanding of the ARAIM Algorithm Environment: A Multi-Parameter Sensitivity Analysis Perspective

Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are now central to modern infrastructure, supporting applications from everyday navigation to critical aviation safety systems. As GNSS technology advances with new constellations and modernized signals, the challenge of ensuring robust performance across various operational scenarios has grown. This evolution has heightened the demands on integrity monitoring systems, especially in safety-critical contexts like aviation. Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (ARAIM) has emerged as a key technology in addressing these challenges. ARAIM offers a substantial improvement over traditional RAIM by leveraging multiple GNSS constellations, thereby enhancing redundancy and the overall reliability of navigation systems. However, the complexity of multi-constellation GNSS environments introduces new challenges for integrity monitoring. ARAIM must now consider a broader range of factors, including: 1. Diverse satellite geometries from multiple constellations 2. Varying signal characteristics and error sources across different GNSS systems 3. Complex interactions between constellation-specific parameters 4. Evolving operational requirements and performance standards
