A study on the optimization of sales channel selection and pricing model of perishable goods retailers-Based on the impact of loss rate
The limited shelf-life and changing market trends of perishable goods necessitate tailored sales strategies and pricing models. This paper examines retailers' sales channel selection and pricing for perishables, considering deterioration rates and market responses. A model incorporating these factors and price sensitivity under different channels is proposed. It focuses on the impact of deterioration rates on sales strategies, analyzing dual-channel approaches for optimal decision-making. The model accounts for demand variations and price sensitivity, exploring the influence of prices and deterioration on sales. Through analysis, retailers are provided with insights for optimal choices. This model advances retailers' perishable goods management and contributes to related research.
