LocaleCommerce: Empowering Local Markets with NopCommerce an open-source e-commerce platform

The existing e-commerce applications in the Philippines need to be highlighted on promoting and selling products from local public or traditional markets. This will allow stall sellers/owners to post and sell their products online in similar way mainstream e-commerce application does. This will also create linkage between sellers and motor bike delivery services which could potentially add economic stimuli and income. The lack of multi-vendor e-commerce in local public or conventional markets in the Philippines presents a significant opportunity to enhance promotion and profitability for sellers, while also introducing a new business model to the local market ecology as it continues to develop. There is a free open-source e-commerce application that can be implemented on mobile devices and web browsers. This application can be customized to align with the operations and transactions of local public markets in the Philippines. It can incorporate features such as bargaining, coupons, discounts, and fostering customer loyalty. This study offers a comprehensive overview of the key characteristics and operational process that distinguish the system, specifically designed to facilitate local public market interaction between customers and vendors for certain targeted objectives. This study does not provide an in-depth analysis of each individual feature and function. Instead, it focuses on highlighting the various components and their interconnectedness. This text does not delve into the complexities of the full development process. Instead, it focuses on showcasing user interfaces that are in line with the key features.
