It was observed Majority (100.00 per cent) each of the respondents were aware about some pesticides persist for long time in the soil, bio- fertilizers were ecofriendly, open burning of harvest waste leads to black clouds which can causes suffocation to human beings, human system if exposed to a very high noise it is harmful, high noise causes rapid heart beating, regular high noise can cause deafness, dead animals cause environmental pollution and FYM mixing in soil is safe for human health as well as for soil micro-organisms and biogas plant slurry is useful for manuring without effecting environment. It was found that majority (98.33 per cent) of the respondents were aware about salt and silt can deposit on fertile soil through irrigation water. It was noticed that majority (99.17 per cent) of the respondents were aware about waste of food processing units can be used in soil to increase fertility without effecting quality of soil. Nearly one third (32.50 per cent) of the respondents had ‘high’ awareness regarding agricultural pollution.
