EFICÁCIA E SEGURANÇA DA SEMAGLUTIDA NO TRATAMENTO DA OBESIDADE
Obesity is a chronic disease that affects millions of people worldwide. It is a multifactorial condition involving genetic, social, environmental, and behavioral factors. The treatment of obesity is complex and may involve lifestyle changes, medication, and surgery. In this sense, the general objective of this work is to investigate the efficacy and safety of semaglutide in the treatment of obesity in patients who are not diabetic. The methodology used will be an integrative literature review, which consists of the identification, synthesis, and critical analysis of published studies on the subject. The research will be carried out in books and scientific articles available on digital platforms. The results of this study may contribute to a better understanding of obesity, as well as correlating the effects of semaglutide, its efficacy, and safety in the treatment of obesity.
