FOTOBIOMODULAÇÃO NA FISIOTERAPIA PEDIÁTRICA: UMA ANÁLISE DOS ESTUDOS DOS ÚLTIMOS DEZ ANOS
Photobiomodulation (PBM), a technique that uses low-intensity light to stimulate biological processes and promote tissue recovery, has gained prominence in pediatric physiotherapy over the past decade. This study reviews clinical trials conducted in the last ten years, focusing on the positive results obtained with the application of PBM in children. The analyzed research demonstrates that PBM has beneficial effects in various pediatric conditions, such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, nocturnal enuresis, muscular dystrophies, and orthopedic injuries. The clinical trials indicate improvements in several aspects, including motor, emotional, and cognitive functions, as well as reductions in pain and inflammation, and acceleration in muscular, skin, and oncological recovery. These findings reinforce the efficacy of photobiomodulation in pediatric physiotherapy, highlighting its potential to integrate therapeutic protocols in a non-invasive manner.
