Antitumor immune effects of the water-dependent reversible photoacid therapy mediated by thiadiazoloquinoxaline photoacid generator
Water-dependent reversible photoacid therapy(W-RPAT) can significantly kill tumors has been demonstrated. However, if W-RPAT is able to induce the antitumor immune effects is not clear. This study firstly found that W-RPAT mediated by TQs-Th-PEG5 induced the release of damage-associated molecular patterns (CRT, HMGB1, HSP90, ATP) from dying cells and the maturation of dendritic cells. Our work explored the anti-tumor immune effects induced by W-RPAT, which suggests that W-RPAT not only kill the primary tumor but also distanced tumor.
