Highly Concentrated Asymmetric KTFSI for Aqueous Potassium Ion Batteries(Adv. Energy Mater. 38/2024)
Aqueous Potassium Ion Batteries In article number 2402011, Woon-Bae Park, Kee-Sun Sohn, Myoungho Pyo, and co-workers describe a potassium imide salt with asymmetric anions, featuring cyano and trifluoromethanesulfonyl (TFSI) branches, as a promising electrolyte for aqueous potassium-ion batteries. This highly concentrated electrolyte enables the operation of batteries within a wide voltage range and across a wide temperature range.
