The study analyzed average annual wages in France for 2000-2022, differentiated by category and gender. Based on the results of the analysis, a certain increase in the standard of living of citizens in the country was revealed in connection with an increase in average wages. A gradual decrease in the difference in wages between highly qualified employees with higher education and low-skilled employees performing manual labor was recorded. Some gender discrimination was identified, with women receiving lower wages than men in the same positions. However, during the analyzed period there was a decrease in the wage gap between both genders.
