The model of an intelligent information resource

Currently, there is, on the one hand, an avalanche–like increase in the need for automatic document processing, and on the other hand, the emergence of new effective methods of automatic text processing in natural language and their corresponding software tools and resources. And although these methods, tools and resources are mostly presented on the Internet, many of them remain inaccessible to developers, since they are not systematized, distributed in various catalogs or on separate sites of both humanitarian and technical orientation. All this significantly complicates their search and their practical use in conduct- ing national research in the field of computational linguistics and the development of applied automatic text processing systems. The article is aimed at satisfying the need described above. Its purpose is to develop a model of an intelligent information resource based on modern methods of automatic text processing (IIR NLP). The main purpose of NLP Research and development is to provide convenient meaningful access to specialists in the field of computational linguistics and students specializing in this field to information about modern methods of automatic text processing, including implementations of these methods, pre-trained models, test data, marked-up text corpora and other information resources on this topic. Users of such a resource could be both researchers, teachers and students researching, teaching and studying this discipline, as well as specialists developing software systems designed for automatic text processing. The originality of the proposed approach lies in the fact that the developed ontology of the NLP domain will be used to systematize all the above knowledge, data and information resources and organize meaningful access to them, and SemanticWeb standards and technology tools will be used as a software basis.
