ROMA GHETTOIZED URBAN STRUCTURES: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS

Roma is the largest minority in Europe and the problems considering its segregation have to be investigated. The main goal of the present paper is to realize a bibliometric analysis which is going to find the primary authors who contributed to the topic of Roma segregation and the ghettoized urban structures, their interactions with one another based on factors such as their affiliation with the research organization, country, the most cited publications, etc. The bibliometric analysis is based on Scopus database. 265 selected documents published between January 1999 and December 2023 are analysed. The papers of researchers from United Kingdom, Hungary and Romania are most cited. The results of the co-occurrence analysis show that logically the word “Roma” is the keyword with the greatest total link strength. The results of the analyses also give an insight into the collaboration between the main researchers, scientific organizations, and countries.
