Transient numerical simulation and characteristic study of flow field in high-pressure piston pump
Abstract As the core component of a mechanical system, the performance of the hydraulic pump, the power output core of the machine, is of great significance for the functional implementation of engineering equipment. The fluid motion state of a plunger rotary axial pump during flow distribution is very complex, especially when the pump rotates at high pressure and speed. The cavitation phenomenon can cause abnormal sound and vibration, seriously affecting its efficiency and service life. Taking the high-pressure plunger rotary axial pump as the research object, a geometric model of the fluid medium in the flow channel inside the pump was established. The motion law and characteristics of the flow field inside the pump were revealed through numerical simulation, laying the foundation for optimizing and improving the internal structure and reducing cavitation damage.
