Research on vertical vibration suppression of active suspension driven by in-wheel motor
Abstract For suppressing the negative vibration of in-wheel motor-driven (IWM) active suspension with disturbance and model uncertainties, an adaptive high-order sliding mode (HOSM) controller is designed in this paper by decreasing the acceleration of the sprung mass. The adaptive fuzzy logic system is first employed to model this suspension. Then, the adaptive switching gain obtained from the Lyapunov function is used to suppress the chattering of the sliding control. Therefore, the true sliding mode can be established in finite time. Finally, the adaptability of the controller is validated through numerical simulations.
