Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on teaching and research activities in obstetrics and gynecology: a national two-stage, stratified, cluster sampling survey in China

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in China, activities requiring direct, face-to-face communication were more affected in resource-rich cities and general hospitals compared to resource-limited areas and specialized hospitals. Residency training experienced the most significant decline. Conversely, participation in online seminars increased, providing additional opportunities for continuing medical education.
