Investigation of design guideline in development merchandise using Impact Mapping method with industry, academia and bank
The current nationwide efforts focus on developing products that capitalize on the unique characteristics of local regions by promoting locally-produced and locally-consumed goods through industry-academia-government collaboration. However, small and medium-sized enterprises often dedicate a significant amount of time and resources to product development. Therefore, this report delves into the potential of utilizing the Impact Mapping method to enhance the value of Miyazaki Prefecture's new specialty product, white wood ear, and contribute to the region's revitalization. A partnership between white wood ear and the renowned confectionery Okashino Hidaka shop "Nanjakorya Daifuku" led to the creation of white Auricularia polytricha DAIFUKU through collaborative efforts involving local industry, academia, government, and financial sectors.
