Review of the genus Ctenoplectra Kirby (Apidae: Apinae: Ctenoplectrini) from India with two new country records
The oil-collecting bees of the genus Ctenoplectra Kirby from India are revised based on specimens deposited in the National Zoological Collection, Zoological Survey of India and University of Agriculture, GKVK, Bengaluru. The most exciting part of this revision is the addition of two Southeast Asian species of this genus, C. cornuta Gribodo and C. davidi Vachal, to the Indian fauna, which previously consisted of only C. chalybea Smith.
