Robust Superconductivity in Infinite‐Layer Nickelates (Adv. Sci. 37/2024)
Superconductors In article number 2305252, Huaqian Leng, Mengsha Li, Liang Qiao, and co‐workers demonstrate a reversible transition between the perovskite Nd(0.8)Sr(0.2)NiO(3) and the infinite‐layer Nd(0.8)Sr(0.2)NiO(2) thin films without losing their structural framework and topological relationships. The structural and physical properties of nickelates are systematically investigated by successively “deintercalation‐intercalation” of the apical oxygens in 6‐fold coordination of Ni ions. The superconductivity in Nd(0.8)Sr(0.2)NiO(2) still exists even for 10 times cycles, indicating the robustness of infinite‐layer structural frame. [Image: see text]
