SISTEMA PARA DETECÇÃO DE VAZAMENTO DE GÁS
Gas poisoning, such as Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), is responsible for around 19,000 deaths annually, due to its high flammability and toxic effects when inhaled in large quantities(Science Advances, 2024). In response to this, a prototype low-cost LPGgas detection system was developed, based on Arduino. The system uses sensors to identify leaks and trigger alerts via LEDs, buzzer, fan and relay, an LCD board and an android app that receives the data sent viaBluetooth to the owner. Tests have confirmed the system’s efficiency in detecting dangerous levels of gas, with positive results for residential and commercial safety.
