Perancangan Fasilitas Kerja Ergonomis pada Stasiun Kerja Pembuatan Dop Tiang Listrik (PT. Bakrie Pipe Industries)

Abstract. PT. Bakrie Pipe Industries is one of the manufacturing companies in Indonesia that produces steel pipes. Production activities in this company do not fully use machines in all production processes. Production activities carried out by human power certainly have the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders when the work posture is not ergonomic. Operators at the electric pole cap manufacturing work station experienced complaints of pain in several parts of the body due to unergonomic work postures when doing their jobs. Therefore, this study aims to identify the level of complaints and measure work risks and design ergonomic facilities to reduce the work risks experienced by operators. The type of research method used is a quantitative method. The research methods used are the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire, Novel Ergonomic Postural Assessment (NERPA) and Anthropometry. The results of the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire on 8 dop-making operators showed complaints in the neck, buttocks or thighs, shoulders, upper back, lower back, knees, wrists and ankles with a value range of 3 to 8. Based on the risk assessment using the NERPA method, there are several high-risk work elements that require immediate improvement, namely the plate cutting element with a final score of 7. Improvements made to reduce work risks are by designing facilities in the form of a plate cutting table. The designed plate cutting table has several facilities including shelves for storing work tools, wheels so that the plate cutting table can be moved, handling to make it easier to push the table, and plate clamps so that it does not shake easily when cut. Abstrak. PT.
