Dinamika Interaksi Komunikasi pada Pengguna Akun Menfess Media Sosial X

Abstract. The advancement of communication technology has significantly impacted human interaction, particularly within both virtual and non-virtual communities. A representative example of this phenomenon is the virtual community formed through the Twitter account @collegemenfess. This account facilitates communication through CMC (Computer Mediated Communication), creating an autobase phenomenon that fosters a sense of community among its users. This study aims to understand the dynamics of interaction among users of this account using qualitative methods, a virtual ethnography approach, and a constructivist paradigm. The research findings indicate that @collegemenfess has developed an interaction system designed to prevent negative content and ensure communication relevance and safety through impersonal and anonymous interactions. The interaction pattern among members is positive, driven by the existing rules and shared interests, reflecting social needs despite the users not knowing each other personally. Furthermore, the feedback received by users suggests that they can present themselves more selectively through asynchronous communication channels, which allow for editing and filtering information before sending messages.
