Research points way on how to stem decline in donors, volunteerism

A new report from the Generosity Commission, a coalition of businesses, philanthropists and civil society groups focused on generosity in America, highlights a series of actions that funders and grantmakers of all stripes can take to help reverse one of the most important trends in philanthropy in recent years — a continuing decline in the number of donors and volunteer rates.
