Capacity Analysis of OTFS-Based Cooperative UAV Network
The era of 6G is the generation of hyperconnectivity and ubiquitous networks. The next level of connectivity surpasses the benchmarks achieved using current 5G technologies. It indicates a pervasive network- everywhere and anytime for global coverage and to maintain connectivity in highly agile and unfavorable environments. To meet such specifications the latest modulation scheme- Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS), has arisen to be the pioneering technology for real-world scenarios for 6G. The next generation of communication requires connectivity in bullet trains, hyperloop transportation, racing cars, spacecraft, etc. OTFS delves into the realms of delay-doppler (DD) as an alternative to the arena of time-frequency (TF) employed for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). OTFS leads to increased throughput as demonstrated by our simulation results. Cooperative communication further helps to enhance the link capacity.
