An Assessment of the Operation of Hybrid FSO/RF DF Relayed Satellite Communication Network Using Pulse Position Modulation
This research paper introduces a novel strategy aimed at addressing communication challenges in demanding environments, focusing on improving the efficacy of utilizing By combining a hybrid Free-Space Optical (FSO) and Radio Frequency (RF) method, HAPS functions as a decode and forward relay system. Across a wide range of applications, dependable and fast data transfer is essential in today's communication networks. The goal of the hybrid FSO/RF network is to address the inherent flaws in radio frequency and free-space communication technologies. The suggested solution creates a flexible backbone by combining a Decode and Forward relay, improving the performance of the entire system. This approach seeks to enable effective communication in situations where traditional systems might not be able to meet all of the needs. The results for BER and outage probability are calculated and studied using MATLAB. The paper emphasizes the significance of the hybrid approach as well as the PPM modulation technique in addressing challenges in satellite communication within demanding environments.
