Time Domain Kirchhoff Integration in FDTD

This paper reports on an efficient implementation of time domain Kirchhoff surface integration of vector fields for FDTD in rectangular coordinates, specifically using GPUs with the CUDA language. Applications include the connection of two or more FDTD space domains with arbitrary orientation and sampling. An example will be shown for a reflectarray [1] illuminated by an off axis eight-element patch antenna array.

Abstract

This paper reports on an efficient implementation of time domain Kirchhoff surface integration of vector fields for FDTD in rectangular coordinates, specifically using GPUs with the CUDA language. Applications include the connection of two or more FDTD space domains with arbitrary orientation and sampling. An example will be shown for a reflectarray [1] illuminated by an off axis eight-element patch antenna array.
