Design of Triangular Shaped Graphene Patch Antenna for Terahertz Applications
In this paper a triangular shaped slotted graphene patch antenna over <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{SiO}_{2}$</tex> substrate is designed for terahertz applications. The radiating patch is fed with CPW feedline. The overall size of antenna is <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$48\times 52\times 3\mu \mathrm{m}^{3}$</tex>. Return loss and radiation patterns are obtained and analyzed using HFSS 11.1 tool. The designed antenna resonates in terahertz regime from 3.2 - 30 THz, which makes it suitable for applications such as biomedical imaging, terahertz imaging and wireless communication.
