Low-Profile Multiband Filtering Patch Antenna

In this paper, a low-profile multi-band filtering patch antenna without any additional filtering circuit is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of three rectangular patches, a pair of differential feeds, and two upper metal strips. By exciting multiple working modes, three working frequency bands, which are $\mathbf{2. 4 - 2. 4 4} \mathrm{GHz}, 3.49-3.53 \mathrm{GHz}$ and $4.86-6.37$ GHz, are realized. The metal strip above and the slot on the patch introduce four radiation nulls, making it a good filtering antenna.
