Experimental Evaluation of the Transmission Performance between a Circuit-Shape Slotted Waveguide and a λ/2 dipole antenna
Scattering parameters (S-parameters) between a prototyped circuit-shape slotted waveguide and a $\lambda / 2$ wavelength dipole antenna were measured and compared with those obtained by the FDTD method. The waveguide was composed of a pair of straight slotted waveguides and a pair of semicircular waveguides, which was proposed and designed for efficient snow melting with microwave radiation to reduce heavy snow removal workloads [1–3].
